About the show:
Prolific and diverse is the only way to describe the photographic output of Northcote resident Sylvia Beu. Her photographic journey has take her through East Africa, Europe,Russia,The UK, North America New Zealand and back to Australia. Her current work however is as close to home as you can get. The practical neccesities of caring for a small child has narrowed Sylvia's focus to her garden and the streets and river near home and resulted in stunningly beautiful images. What is more remarkable than the quality of her work ,or the fact that Sylvia found the time to create these gems is the way in which they were captured. The time poor mother has used the camera on her mobile phone to create these exquisite floral images.
